Apparently sent threatening texts to a team-mate of Bailey Dale, telling them Bailey had better watch himself

For a bloke that's averaged just over a goal a game in his career, he seems to get himself in the news more than anyone else.

Very weird thing to do. As an AFL player you shouldn't still be seething hours after the game at an indervidual. Somehow you think a text message was going to scare him.

Rioli's never dominated a showdown, but he does a few annoying things every showdown that sparks them.

They are so worried about the optics and setting the right example. They should give him a week suspension for misconduct

Let's be honest if it was Dale writing to Rioli he would be banned.

Actually, if it is correct whats been alleged, flip it and look at how the optics would be if it was Dale making those same threats to an Aboriginal player. I would say it would be all over the news and severe penalties would be on their way for Dale and maybe the Dogs
