I don’t think the player can be forced off the field. Unless the umpires have been provided that authority.
The AFL have empowered doctors to take a player from the field of rhey have any concerns.

We have already seen this on many occasions.

Don't believe it is counted as one of your rotations.

Club doctors?

Or an independent doctor at the ground?

AFL toying with a dedicated list spot for an indigenous player as a measure to promote more indigenous into the top level. Its a good premise but we will just see players drafted anyway put on that list spot.

Every club has at least one indigenous player. In fact, AFL would have to be on areas that indigenous are over represented making up 10% of players but less than 5% of the population.

So not really sure what this achieving.

100% this will end up like the rookie list where they end up having 30 year veterans on it vs encouraging clubs to draft players they wouldn’t otherwise.

Steven Salopeks son, and Zermes Pilot, gun youngster from their NGA

A real gun as in a top ten pick? It seems the terms gun and jet get used alot now a days

Is Rodan the other one besides Cochrane they had access to?

Sounds like the new bidding rules are coming in this year. They have a fair bit riding on how that plays out

Pilot is a gun, but a lot can change in 2 seasons.

Very, very good basketballer too.

Hopefully he gets a run, theyve got a pretty good outside brigade.
Lot of last years draftees playing in the game as well Aiden Schubert, Jevan Phillipou, Cam Nairn, Liam Heatherton. Ollie Greeves, Harry Kyle, Jack Dalton, Noah Chamberlain.

Do you reckon Jevan would still pick himself at number 1 in the draft despite being actually taken at pick 35 and not making the Swans team?

Hawthorn really are just a thoroughly unlikeable team.
Aren’t they just.

Ginnivan and Watson aside, McDonald is an absolute showboater. Moore a grub, Newcombe a thug.

It works for them, of course. Still can’t see them playing in a grand final this year unless others fall around them.

Very strong depth but, some pretty handy players playing in the Magoos that would walk into plenty of clubs best 23

Former Sturt player Flynn Perez looking very good in his first VFL hit out for the Hawks, kicking is exceptional.
Very much off topic, but a query on why you refer to him as the ex-Sturt player ?? For me I always instantly think of which AFL club they played for having reached the top level, rather than any subsequent state league side they played for. Just an aside.

Well that's where he's plied his trade most recently.

Because hes a premiership player at one club, and its where they recruited him from.
