Let's say in the lead up to the GF, Bulldogs decided that Gardner would be dropped. They told him which was devastating. He took a few days, felt ashamed, like a loser. His dream taken away.

The Bulldogs felt like sh*t, but they had to make a call.

They gave him time. Support.

His parents, girlfriend, family were all excited to see him in a GF. Dogs knew they would be just as hurt,

Huh? How does this make the Dogs look like heroes? Once they told the player they should have also managed the family situation - with Gardners support- instead they said ' dont tell anyone not even mum'' and meanwhile Gardner is lying to his mother

And thats Toms fault?

Its a coincidence that the last 2 games have been Bulldogs Melbourne - not some conspiracy cooked up by Morris just because he is a Melbourne supporter - of which I and I bet nobody else knew or cared about until Beveridge mentioned it. Ive never seen anything to suggest that

Grew up from a privileged background and went to private schools, not one who ever developed the ability to think about what marginalized or minority parts of society go through.
