It was completely out of control

I got caught in a similar situation (not kicking 1000 goals, but stuck in the wrong place when I was guiding the opening of the running of the bulls festival in Pamplona). Was told not to go in the town square as when it clears out it gets overcrowded and ended up in a small side street.

Have never been more scared for more life, literally couldn’t breathe and my feet weren’t even on the ground. Lucky some bulky American dude saw me screaming for my life and pulled me into a doorframe with him.

Watching that gave me anxiety thinking back to that day. As much as you love to see it and it can happen with no fear of violent threat, crushing situations are serious.
