It is scary how much Port of 2022 is making the same errors of the Crows of the past.

1. Severe overrating of the list
2. A snake oil salesman for a coach (at least we had the sense to get rid of Sando)
3. Another snake oil salesman for a President
4. Off field promotions from within the organisation
5. Off field staff leaving and not being replaced

I've been saying that the cliff has been coming for them for some time and the signs have been there. I thought it would come last year, but they were blessed with a soft draw and limited impact with injuries, but this year, they've had a couple of injuries to key personnel, a tougher fixture and their aging stars are looking old.

Oh, and suck shit Chris Davies, couldn't happen to a nicer bloke. Where's the professional jealousy now??
To be fair we did made a Grand Final and finished top 4 multiple times in non pandemic interrupt seasons and regularly beat the top 8 sides, Port Power only started to make top 4 in 2020 and 2021 when they had a very good run with the fixtures and injuries and Kochie is spruiking this as an "achievement" with one of the best W-L record from 2020 but a shocking record against the top 8 teams. Sanderson lost Walker to an ACL very early in the season and that's after losing Tippett so our forward line was pretty much stuffed.

AFLW only has 16 on the field
Thanks sorry I didnt know that.

Even then, I think it should be reduced further. Probably could do without forward pockets.

Would really open up the forward area inside 50m.

At the very least it should be trialed in practice games at their level.

Need to play on smaller grounds.
Won’t fully take off until scoring increases significantly.

Smaller grounds with reduced numbers is fine, otherwise it will be even more congested.

I agree it will always struggle until the scoring increases, the skill level is not there yet and wont be for probably another generation, so they need a good selling point of high scoring.

Just physically they can’t kick as far, so it just makes sense to play on smaller grounds.
And yes drop a couple of numbers out of it.

Kennett just couldn't help showing his arse. It's such an old man yells at cloud moment. Who cares if somebody has holes in their jeans? Taste in fashion is subjective. Just let it go old man.
Have seen Cyril in Alice at the last couple of AFL matches, always a polite young man.

Holding a grudge against the club you’re a legend at, cos some boomer made a bad joke about your missus’ jeans, is about as pathetic as it gets.

C’mon.
It’s the racial undertones throughout multiple instances I would think that’s upset him.

Maybe, but there was nothing in that Kennett incident.

If that’s the reason he won’t have anything to do with Hawthorn, he’s the one with the problem.
If there was no racial stuff in it I agree, but sounds like a fair bit of stuff went on.
