TBH we are pretty well served outside Victoria; it's Victorian fans who get the short end of the stick when it comes to seeing their club on FTA.

Higher resolution. It's not important unless you sit fairly close to a big screen, but then it looks magnificent.

If you are thinking of getting a new TV, you probably will find it difficult to get anything other than 4K, of course.

Gil mentioned that the Fox games shown on delay on 7 for interstate sides will be less than it is now.

Fox Footy also going the way of Fox League/cricket by providing it's own commentators for all matches (assuming this will also include their own graphics too).

Did you not read my post? The point is that the difference is not visible if you sit a long way from the screen.
The closer you get to the screen, the more apparent the difference is. I'm not talking it down!

On the other hand, HDR is rubbish, especially on OLEDs, and that's my considered scientific opinion.

Yep, but IMO the benefit is mainly for very large screens, and I think it is also restrained by the resolution of the input.

Yeah iirc it's LG's tech. Other brands like Sony and Panasonic just buy the panels from LG and tweak them a bit. Samsung just recently released their first OLED TV which I think is their own version.

I wouldn't say it's "not important". It's a huge difference. The issue is more about access to 4K content. I'd wager a huge amount of people who own 4K TVs have never actually watched anything in 4K.
