It must have a bit of commercial housing value if sold.
They are already building next door and then there is the paddock the other side

A lot of empty land could be connected in there making millions for someone

*note I am opposed to just putting houses on empty land ' just because '

I hop given Malinauskas has stepped in there will be some priority public affordable housing for some

Looking at the fixture, if Porked Power Reserves don’t beat Central next week they might not get a win until Round 10 😛
Are they playing an intra club match in rd 10 with the AFL side?

A blast from the past indeed. Started his career in 1957 with Prahran in the VFA--the mighty double blues. I was going to Prahran games at that time, but can't remember him.

Is that just after the birth of Peter Darley, don’t recall seeing him that lean

Problem is that Mali's idea of pubic affordable housing is a $600K one bedroom appartment on the middle floors of an 8 story tower.

There's a Facebook post on Footy Film SA's page with extensive Ken Whelan highlights. Before my time. I'd never seen him play or any of this footage but it's as close to a Tony Modra highlight reel as you'll get. Similar type player - medium size full forward. Jumps at everything

In my Modra - This great century video Freddie Phyllis talks about Modra being one of kind but mentions Ken Whelan being as close as you can get to a Modra Clone of players who had come through the sANFL.

Redlegs’ SANFL flag hopes rocked by serious injury to star ruckman Harry Boyd

Norwood’s premiership hopes have been dealt a crushing blow after star ruckman Harry Boyd was ruled out for up to 12 weeks with an injury much worse than first thought.

Norwood’s SANFL premiership hopes have suffered a major blow, with star ruckman Harry Boyd expected to be sidelined for more than half the season with a bad wrist injury.
After initially being diagnosed with a sprained left wrist after he pulled up sore from the Round 2 clash against Glenelg at the Bay, an MRI scan revealed Boyd’s injury was far worse than first feared.

The scan showed Boyd – the 2024 joint Magarey Medallist and 2022 Jack Oatey Medallist – had ruptured the scapholunate ligament, while also uncovering some minor bone fractures.

Arguably the SANFL’s most influential player after his return to The Parade this season following a one-year stint at AFL club St Kilda, Boyd underwent surgery late last week to re-align the scaphoid and lunate bones.

He is expected to be sidelined for 10 to 12 weeks.

Dam

But Finny Heard is more than capable. He is a better ruck than forward. 23 and 22 touches the last two games since Boyd has been out.
