Only ruckmen I'd take ahead of him would be Sandilands, Jacobs, Mumford, Ryder and Naitanui. He's also their most important player by the length of Bass Straight.

I wouldn't even take Sandilands and probably not Naitanui ahead of him.

Just because he isn't primarily a ruckman anymore doesn't mean Ethan can't prefer Ryder to Goldstein in the ruck if he were picking a team!

Lobbe simply can't play forward, Unless he magically becomes a better forward Ryder's still the forward who'll offer him the chop out for 6-7 minutes a quarter.

He's still a fantastic ruckman, but the days or Ryder having ripping seasons in the ruck are long gone unless the ear lobbe gets injured

Top 10 in BnF (somewhere around 5 I thought) and he gets dropped for Judas I might play for a quarter or two Ryder. Pfft

While I didn't rate Lobbe initially, he seems to have come on well. I simply can't see Paddy working as a permanent fwd. He is a ruck or nothing for mine. Guess time will tell.

Riewoldt, Cotchin, Deledio, Conca are all on pretty hefty contracts at the moment. Anthony Miles got a huge pay rise. Vlaustin and Ellis will be due as well.

Dustin Martin and Alex Rance will be out of contract at seasons end and expecting to command huge money.
