You think Watson and Josh Kennedy are good defensively? Or Heppell? Or any elite mid for that matter (not that I would put Priddis or Heppell in that category)?

Inside midfielders who are not great runners are usually not good defensively. They play to their (ball winning) strengths and there is supposed to be midfield depth to cover defensive frailties of these types of players.

Onus is on the faster more skillful players to get on the end of his inside work.
