Not even a single mention of Pav's cheap open handed hit on Ambrose in the round 11 MRP report. Get absolutely stuffed, MRP campaigners.

I applaud the MRP's decision re the Hawkins Incident. IMO the AFL has gone soft on striking incidents in the last two years - Still can't get over the Lynch strike on Baguley in Round 1 getting only a fine.
Consistency at the MRP is consistently inconsistent.I don't think many would have an issue with the Hawkins one in isolation. But to let so many incidents get only a fine or nothing, when they were definitely comparable to Hawkins, is what annoys people most.
He had 1 tackle last week in those deplorable conditions. He has been injured, but gee, he did not want to get down and dirty last week. Spewing hes out though...in my fantasy teams.Gold Coast have dropped Aaron Hall this week....puzzling!

Cloke dropped again - His time is up at Collingwood.
If we're going that way, we could also talk about clubs gutted by injury getting higher picks than their complete and healthy list "deserves". Perhaps the AFL should assign draft picks based on their list value (as determined by an algorithm that arbitrarily favours the league's agenda)? The 'Essendon not getting a draft pick' thing is about as consistent as the MRP rulings. Was last year's finish a reflection of the ASADA stuff finally weighing players down or was it merely where that group was at?
If it was due to the ASADA stuff, then you could make an argument that given the talent still on the field playing, Essendon receiving pick 4 in 2015 was more of an 'injustice' than pick 1 or 2 would be in 2016. Yet nobody seemed to have an issue with it then. Also, there is the small matter of already having lost 2 years of premium picks in 2013 and 2014 as punishment. Funny how people are quick to forget that. Then again, the fact that Dodoro appears to have knocked those drafts out of the ******* ballpark might be the reason people didn't think we were actually punished at all!
If it was simply due to the playing group being not good enough, then this year is merely an extension of that poor list management, so we are having our cyclical time at the bottom and as a result, will be entitled to the draft pick relative to our finishing position. The same as every other club in the league. So what is the issue?

The problem for me is defining 'arbitrary'.I reckon there might be a job in there for you![]()
Where do we all sit on the AFL assisting GWS matter. I call it a 'matter' as it has yet to become an 'issue.'
The more I think about it the angrier I get.
Currently there's so much talk about us getting or not getting the number pick. Not that it matters but when are we supposed to get our pick? I heard today it would be akin to us getting assistance from the AFL if we did get it. But does it matter?
In two years we've got a team, that's rcvd so much assistance that it's not funny, about to hit it big. GWS. Clearly the AFL want this team to be competitive, so the draft took care of that along with the academy. But how far? How long?
This club has the potential for sustained success for nigh on a decade. The potential is there, it cannot be argued & imo they have at least four to five premierships awaiting their talent.
So where does that leave everyone else? Where does that leaves us more importantly?
Will Victorian club fans, let alone everyone else, be short changed so much that it damages the brand forever? Have the AFL sold us all out just so their foray into the Sydney market ensures they don't look stupid because this cannot be sustained? Just look at the Queensland teams right now. They desperately need help but can they get it no matter how hard they shout? Nup.
It's scary as hell and only feels more forboding with each and every win this year the put on the board.

So pet projects, other interstate clubs, clubs that make an effort to pretend they're interstate, big clubs that financially support interstate clubs, remaining by order of how much they give a shit;
Pick 1, Gold Coast
Pick 2, Greater Western Sydney
Pick 3, Brisbane
Pick 4, Fremantle
Pick 5, Sydney
Pick 6, Adelaide
Pick 7, Port Adelaide
Pick 8, West Coast
Pick 9, North Melbourne
Pick 10, Hawthorn
Pick 11, Melbourne
Pick 12, St Kilda
Pick 13, Collingwood
Pick 14, Carlton
Pick 15, Essendon
Pick 16, Geelong
Pick 17, Western Bulldogs
Pick 18, Richmond
That do?
Rofl. That place has no use for accurate information.I'm surprised the AFL haven't signed you up already!
How dare you talk to football royalty like that.I bet Damo wishes he could get by on reputation alone.
