Call it my hatred for Geelong but that was a ripper win for St Kilda. They played neat, attacking football for most of the game, was beautiful to watch.

No where near as bad as the two non calls against him when he pushed Saints out of the way. Regardless of frees missed to the Saints, they got a blatant ride for most of the match. Without their assistance it wouldn't have even been that close.

As much as we bag the Saints in recent list management moments, I like their spread of talent. Gresham seems to have the x-factor. Add in Lonie and Billings and you have a potent forward mix especially if McCartin can learn to be more involved.

Then, of course, they can sure up their defense with Carlisle and Fisher (if he has another year in him).

Roo and Montagna haven't deteriorated too much.

I could see them rise up quickly next year.They might just believe after tonight.
