I’ve enjoyed being out of the finals this year, been happy to see other teams do well.Today we had two good teams having a real go. Good luck to them, especially the pies- best team all year. Happy for them.
Will just add that the Geelong team from last year would have beaten both these teams by ten goals. And I’m not kidding. ( but we weren’t that team this year)

All credit to collingwood as they show what hard work can do to overcome talent but the standard of the league atm is crap.

In other matters i know everyone tries but has there ever been a worse premiership player in the last 50 years than frampton? What a spud getting a game just because hes tall. Has 2 touches in a GF and barely exists while andrews has a huge impact. Poor john noble must be shattered..if i was frampton id be giving my medal to him.

He'd be up there, but every premiership team has a potato or two in there protected by having excellent players around them.

Yep- don’t begrudge them at all. Good on them. Actually pleased for them. But the pies team 12 months ago was better than this one. If they had won that final against us in 2022 they would have gone on to win the flag too. Even their form earlier in the year was great- not playing as well now, but they got the win. And that’s all you need to do. Well done pies. Yeehaa. Great game anyway.

So what? IF that is true...you can only beat the teams below you and they did more often than any other team. Equalisation is the real deal. We go from being almost unbeatable in 22, to 12th 12m later.
