Woods edging it. Seem to find loose players in space on too many occasions… scored too much for my liking .
I think Brisbane have the more talented players in their side overall, but Collingwood has the better system/structure.

System/structure will normally win out, the heat may be the wild card.

seeing the Geelong premiership player label under dangers name just then helped ease my jealousy a little

If collingwood win a GF with absolute spud talls like cox and frampton it will be an absolute joke.

Hopefully brisbane overwhelm them.
Cox is a handy player. Hardly a spud. It's not popular on this board, but he's in the GF and has already placed the Pies in a previous GF.
He does not get shorter in the second half, and maybe very pivotal late in the game when marking is more difficult

Agreed, but Collingwood just have that knack of winning games if it's close, so Brisbane is going to have to play this to the end.

Who would you define as a spud?
Not a single player playing today.
In years gone past, David Loats, and that was probably unfair as came to us already injured.
ALL players at AFL level are screened and resilient enough to get through all the rigours of playing this game, so I have not defined ANY player as a spud.

Cox is bog average and is old.

And frampton has no business being on a list let alone a GF 23. The fact that he is shows how thin decent talks across the league are.
