Good game though. Anyone who plays North always has to play a good game to beat them. I though Fabian Francis played a good game. And Primus was outstanding.

Hopefully the Grand Final will be at Football Park, since Port have a better win-loss record than both Hawthorn and Brisbane.

I'm hoping for a Port-Brisbane Grand Final. It would certainly be an unusual, and unexpected Grand Final. Two new sets of colours can only be good for the game.

Actually Hawkforce, you are already one ahead. The night comp began in 1977, and Hawthorn won in 1977,85,86,88,91,92,99

Essendon won in 1981,84,90,93,94,2000

So, Hawthorn lead 7 to 6. I originally thought it was 6 each. I was wrong. You guys are one ahead, with a real chance of stretching the gap to 2.

Of course, we should consider those who only rate premierships won since the changing of the name to the AFL (please no arguments over this: let's just accept that Port fans can only judge themselves against what they've played).

As I understand it, Port are unused to losing Grand Finals so should the Hawks make it, and subsequently win again, it should be the start of a healthy rivalry.

Naturally, should Hawthorn lose - IT'S ONLY A PRACTISE MATCH!!!

Untrue Hawkforce. Port are VERY used to losign grand finals. 36 GF wins from 60 grand finals!! So the Magpies have lost 24 of them...thats quite a lot!
