It was great To watch an Epic game on Foxtel today between North and Port. Great game it was.

Another nail on the Port Coffin for season 2011. If Port havent waved the white flag yet, they would be close to it now. Hawks at AAMI should finish off Port Next week. Port made North Look good today. they made North Look like Geelong of 2007-2009.

It gets better for North, they have the cats at skilled stadium next week. but after that the next few games are all winnable...

round 10: vs Swans (ethiad)

round 11: vs crows (ethiad)

round 12: vs gold coast (gold coast)

round 13: vs essendon (ethiad)

If North Can win most of them, they can make the Finals!

as far as im concerned, demons got thumped by west coast on thurday night and your team talk about how good your youngsters are. You beat the gold coast by 90 points. Yet Gold coast won by 3 points against port at AAMI. Yet Port lost to North Melbourne by 60 points. I rest my case.

North melbourne were unlucky not to win against west coast in round 1.

we shall see If your team is the better team in round 8 between the roos and demons at Ethiad. If roos play like they did against Port, I reckon North will give you a run for your money.

Only games out of that group I'll be tipping them to win with any confidence would be possibly Adelaide, definitely Gold Coast & possibly Port Adelaide. Adelaide have troubled North for a number of years but it would be hard to tip them in Melbourne. The Gold Coast are... well, the Gold Coast... North will win that and I won't be tipping Port Adelaide, even at home, again this year so North could notch up another win there. As for the other games...

Geelong haven't lost in Geelong since 2007. That streak won't end against North of all teams.

The Roos have had the Demons measure for a while, but I expect that to change this year. Still a potential chance for North though. One of those games you could almost swap with Adelaide as a possible. They won't win both though.

Brisbane aren't much chop, but neither are North, so I'd expect the Lions to win at home.

Swans have had the measure of North for a number of years.

Essendon have won two of their last three against North Melbourne and it's already evident they have overtaken them by a fair margin this year.

Sydney will murder them, as will Essendon, they can't handle any pressure at all.

I was at the game today as I am a member of both clubs but they were very far from convincing, the big news is just how shit port adelaide are...

I agree with your whole post with the exception of Brisbane. I reckon North will beat the lions at the gabba for 2 reasons.

Jonathon Brown is still injured. Dont know if he will be back by that game. Hes the one guy Opposition teams would fear. And secondly the overall Lions team Has not got good enough depth all round the field. The lions got good young kids through .
