Congratulations to him.

Great win.

Won't be the first time he wins it either, still got at least another 10 years in the sport.

Won't be the last we see of Tsonga either though.

Congrats and well done to Novak, tough game with the crowd against him aswell!

Comiserations to Tsonga, he is a great and unique player and will surely be a star in the very near future!

Fully deserved. He beat Hewitt, Federer and Tsonga. The best player of the last 2 weeks won the tournament. Many more to come I believe.

His backhand is unbelievable. Even some of his volleys were Rafteresque. Also did it tough with the crowd so tilted towards Tsonga.

Hoping to see much more of Tsonga also. He had a great 2 weeks.

Whats brilliant about him is the way he hung in there when Tsonga was dropping those big forehand bombs on him.He was virtually facing break points in every service game till mid 2nd set.But he was able to hang in there and grind it out.The kid is maturing no doubt about it.Well done Nole...well deserved.

Great win, and many congratulations to him.

He out-thought and outclassed Tsonga tonight; it was a very impressive victory at the end of a very impressive tournament from him.

Knowledgeable judges - such as my good self - precicted that the winner of Fed V Djoko was always going to be the most likely winner. He is now a genuine threat to anyone and everyone. Quite frankly I would not be surprised if he were the next number one within 18 months.

Roger has to up it now. This is a new threat. A consistent and menacing top ranked player NOT on clay. he can't cruise any more.

Rafa is improving on other surfaces besides clay also. ^ Both will pressure Federer, out of the two I think Rafa is more likely at the moment to take the number one from Fed. I do think Djokovic will reach world number 1 at some stage in his career though. Rafa needs to be a bit more consistant for mine. Tsonga will be up in a few years also.

Well done to him. He overcame injury last night in a gutsy performance. Tsonga will be top 10 before we know it - I think we might see him in another slam final this year

Definately a great campaign for him, to only drop 1 set the whole tourney. Much deserved winner.

Tsonga will get up there too but at the moment he seems to drop his head too much when things dont drop his way, therefore losing focus.

I love djocca but Tsonga deserved it. Young guy and tried real hard. I didnt see the game which was disapointing but apparently it was a good game to watch

Why did Tsonga deserve it..let me remind you that Novak didn't lose a set going into the final..yet in your view Tsonga who dropped sets going into the final deserves the title more! And Novak is young you know!

Tsonga's not the only one with an Aus Open hangover. Djokovic out of Open 13 with 6-2, 6-7, 6-3 loss to Gilles Simon in the 2nd round.

you are very knowledgeable indeed :thumbsu:

I was just saying cause I didn't know there was a tennis board.

I was so happy when he won though cause his my favourite player, although I did like Tsonga.
