Apologies to keep belatedly putting out stuff from Members Meeting, but re anchors, Simon Garlick noted that these had not always been viewed externally as positive symbols (dragging us down etc.) but the club is embracing anchors effectively as strong, grounding values. More on this in the Strategic plan also.

as per the Bell and Garlick radio interviews, this is being driven by the playing group.
Along the lines of, when things are unsure, or stormy, you through out the anchor for safety.

it came second in a poll back in 2019 to the green away, naturally it is next in line to be used, I am bloody excited for it

The Dockers was a silly choice for a name. We call em wharfies over here and everyone thinks they are bludgers.

Keep the current jumber. Love the purple and chevrons.

Seems way too high. Maybe waiting to claim Walters or Mundy's when they retire. Crowden has his Subi number 12 so maybe he's hovering like a Vulture .

He wears 44 a little bit in the highlights, and a lot of people were posting stuff like "#44 monsoon" on his instagram just after he got drafted.

So seems like there was already a link there to the number.
