you have to be joking, he fumbles the ball, a crap throwing arm and rounds around like a lost puppy on the field
I can't see the point of playing David Hussey in the Australian side anymore. Maxwell would be his direct opposition I would think and I would prefer to see him playing. The more international experience he gets the better.
Dussey has been one of the best performers in the short formats of the game for years his records speak for them self but has never really gone so well at the national level, but still deserves his spot. maxwell has gone ok so far when he has been picked for national duties but will eventually be husseys repacementYeah, I am of the same opinion, really he won't get to the next world cup but I still feel as though he will be picked even though he has a couple of seasons left. I still think he is a better player then Maxwell so the selectors will go with Hussey.

im glad not many people rate christian, his limited batting ability (has no offside ability) and his bowling is rather pathetic, his bowling against the scorchers sumed up his ability
Plenty of experience in Johnson and McKay. Siddle isn't even a lock in the Vic OD side. I'd much rather get games into the likes of NCN and Faulkner. What about Peter Siddle? Has been nearly two years since he has played an ODI for Australia but could he be a chance with all the injuries to the fast bowling stocks? Personally I would prefer he didn't but it wouldn't surprise me if the selectors went with him to add bit of experience.
I don't have a problem with D Hussey being picked. He is still a better player than Maxwell. His form has been outstanding for Victoria in the Ryobi this season and he has been good for Australia. He still has years in front of him and will likely still be playing come the world cup. He should be playing ODIs ahead of his brother who has averaged less in the last year and has gone at a lesser strike rate.
In what world is Glenn Maxwell a better option than Steve Smith?
Fair enough but by those standards, Michael Hussey shouldn't play either. He has only averaged 32 this year in ODIs. He is 37 now so he'll be what, 39 or 40 for the next world cup?At 35 and only averaging 32 with the bat it is hard to see him lasting several more years in the side. He is a better player than Maxwell but that doesn't mean he is the better option overall. David Hussey is not good enough to be playing in our ODI side at the next world cup. We will be in all sorts of a mess if that happens.

smith has a batting technique of a 13 yr old playing back yard cricket, maxwell has a very good technique but goes the slog over cow corner to often and has shown in the games where was picked the aus 2nd teams vs south Africa and sri lanka he can bat against good bowling.I can see there being room for both in the future. Smith as a pure batsman, probably batting around 4, and Maxwell as a slogger down the order with handy bowling, maybe around 7.

The one that remembers that Smith is always horrible when tasked with hitting boundaries from the get go, and that they're battling it out for the number 6 spot eg a spot where more often than not they will be tasked with hitting boundaries from the get go.In what world is Glenn Maxwell a better option than Steve Smith?
He's been told he will be a test bowler only from the selectors. What about Peter Siddle?
