I like these blokes, they can play at International level.
I dony hate these blokes because they are good people, not the sort of Ponting, McGrath, Lehmann etc etc...
Once this generation of Australian cricketers leave, it will be again a good cricketing country WITH sportsmanship.

Bracken is a gun at ODI level (still doubtful in Tests), pretty economical but in the right conditions he can swing it.

Is Nathan Bracken a dud ODI bowler?
Bracken is widely criticised on these boards despite having 40 ODI wickets at 22.13.
He's almost in the Damien Martyn class in terms of copping flak despite strong performances.
I reckon Bracken is a shoe-in to go to the Caribbean, and is currently an automatic selection in our strongest ODI XI.
I'm sure some people don't agree.

The problem with Bracken is he 'doesn't look much' but you are correct his figures are quite exceptional for someone just starting their one day career and you couldn't really ask more of him.
Dont think he has been dismissed with the bat either?

Definitely not , one of the most improved Australian bowlers IMO . If he can generate more swing at the expense of taking off a little pace , he will improve even more ...

He got out on the last ball of the match in the last game V sri lanka.
Great odi bowler, great average, great econ, great S/R.

With the white ball, he can actually swing it
Good change of pace and can at least keep the low full tosses and yorkers up there at the depth
Having said that, he's ******** at Tests, and Test cricket is real cricket

Bracken has been labelled a pure swing bowler. If the ball doesn't swing he is considered straight up and down.
These little off cutter/off spin stuff he has developed is the answer to that.
Example tonight.
Tried to swin the ball in his first over. Got smashed and didn't happen. Next 9 overs he bowled little cutters and bowled well. Smart bowler.
Will be the 3rd seamer picked for the WC after Lee and McGrath.

Very good one day bowler IMO. He will no doubt become the regualr 3rd seamer behind lee and Mcgrath during important games.

Don't think Bracken is a particularly special test bowler, doubt anyone loses sleep over him, but his ODI performances are quietly strong. Decent performer.
