This kid is a star. He more then held his own against a number 1 pick in Fraser.

He has alot of doubter out there but his game tonight just shows how good he might be. He has great composure and great footy intelligence. His stats were 16 hitouts 8 kicks, 10 handballs, 7 marks and 1 goal. He is the unsung hero of tonights game.

With Simmonds and Pattison potentially firing alot with Tuck and Foley we could be the clearence kings next year:thumbsu:

We done Patto, fastracked gun:thumbsu:

Add Coughlan to the list. I for one cannot wait till he comes back next year. Aswell as Polo.

Patto's been amazing this year. No one could have expected what he would produce. :thumbsu: for sure.

He's growing on me week by week. Admittedly Fraser wasn't 100% and under an injury cloud, but Patto does appear to have a lot of endurance and stamina. He seems to get better the further the game goes. Was very good for us, tonight:thumbsu:

Patto has been nothing short of sensational all year. Was thrown in the deep end early and has come through with flying colours. Gotta love when d**kheads on this board bag the s**t out of him. Where are all you c**kheads now???

I think Angus did a reasonable job in his second game too! Our ruck stocks are actually looking rather good :thumbsu:

Foley is exciting....but for me the future centre bounce combinations of a stronger more experienced Pattison and Foley are huge!! Can I also throw in Polo and Coughlan in that centre mix too??

Outsiders view here. Thought he was terrific tonight.

He has the ability to contest in the ruck and then compete once the ball hits the deck. Also has the ability to make space and present an option for the midfielders when they’re in a bit of trouble. Has great skills by hand and an excellent work rate.

Great game, good prospect. :thumbsu:

I agree, good young lad. Noticed his good skills below the knees early on. Sometimes the only Tiger chasing the opposition player.

Last night he impressed me with his marking, held onto the ones we needed him too.

Centre tap work has also come on in leaps and bounds. Only wish he was say 5cm taller.

If he starts kicking goals he might put the wind up some of our more highly fancied young KP forwards.

I'd love to bump every thread where I had to stick up for the kid while a few of you teared him to shreads but I'm kind so I wont.

On ya Patto. :thumbsu:

same,

but Im not really kind, the 2 biggest peanuts calling him a dud and waste of a pick let alone a top 20 pick, were PLSC and santa f.ucking claws.

Like to highlight Patto's 19 possies from only 65% of game time on the weekend! Those are midfielders stats and bloody hell he's great. Always goes for the ball at 100%, doesn't wait around!

One play that sticks out in my mind was when the ball was in our forward pocket. His attack on the ball was 2nd to none and from memory ended up with a shot on goal.

Patto plays for the jumper and we love him for it :thumbsu:

Loved his effort in the third quarter, right half forward flank, gathered the ball and kicked what at first looked like a shocker but was infact the perfect kick over the top of his opponent for Deledio to mark running at full pace, then slotting the goal from 45m.

yep, when they talk about development this kid should be the example.

He aint a star and might not become a star, well from the present facts presented anway. But barring any unforeseen circumstances, will be a 200 gamer minimum for us. The type of player that all good sides have, who just keep on keeping on, getting their job done, week in week out, and letting the match winners do what they do on the back of his work.
But you never know how far this kid will go, seeing as he is quite visibly gaining confidence each match and stepping outside his comfort zone and trying something new and with success. Keep it up Patto. ;)

First quarter today.

One bloke did something (lol). I think it a run down or an attempted tackle after they had ran a long way. I'll have a look at the replay. Anyway, Patto has gone up, the only player to do so (when others should have aswell) and given this guy a well done. He ran 50 metres to do so.

It was only small, but it stood out. Can anyone remember? Probably 5 - 10 minutes into the first.
