I honestly feel like crying, the confirmation that he will never again play at this club is so disheartening. Disbelief probably describes how I've felt today and this year.

After all that's happened, how could he continue to make those kinds of decisions unless he basically wanted out?

It's such a waste. He was a rare talent and he will now be remembered for the way his career ended rather than the way he played over 238 games.

Time for the club to pull themselves off the mat and move forward. That's exactly what we'll do.

i knew this was gonna happen.

i heard something about him getting arrested in broome for drugs.
i believe that statement as i've heard it from 3 diferent people who aren't affiliated with eac other.

one of them had a brother who was in broome. he noticed a guy was bogged and went to give him a hand .. it was ben and apparently he was high and couldn't even push the car.

another one is that my friends family friend is a police up north said so . but added that the eagles paid a large amount of money to free him - not sure how true that one is though.

anyway .. im really saddened by this .. and getting pretty teary .. but he needs it and deserves it. he's let down a lot of people and left eagles with no choice.

sad to see that amount of talent go to waste.

i hope he gets himself cleaned up. i agree he needs to get out of perth .. he's certainly surrounded by the wrong people.
