Trengove and Tapscott signed on for an extra year as soon as they were drafted. I'm just wondering why Scully didn't do the same that's all.

the afl website says extension, im assuming that means to 2010, that was done in 2009

Completed his fourth season at senior level, appearing in 15 games and passing his 50-game milestone. Was used more defensively and that could be his forte after arriving at the club as a promising midfielder. Goes hard at the contest and was given a contract extension at the end of the 2009 season.

Not sure if anyone has said this above but anyone who is over 30 should only get i year by year contract. Two years at the very max. Watts, pettard and Jamar are the three i would want to lock in ASAP amoung with others of couse. If we can keep this core group togeather our list is looking very good in the years to come.

It's pretty great we got Tapscott as well as Trengove, as it meant we got Trengove on a three years contract and he should stay with us rather than return to SA. No number one draft picks have been traded this decade, so I reckon we're good with Watts and Scully.

Petterd, Bate and Jamar are the big three to sign for this year, as all will be on opposition recruiters lists. Jones and Garland should stay unless we trade them.
