I'm saying that despite having improved quite a bit from last season, Felton still isn't fit to carry Nash's bags.

Please don't confuse "Felton is going to make the All-Star team in a hilariously weak East back-court" with him actually being anywhere near the level of Nash. The guy is a 2-time MVP and his form this season is every bit as good as those years.

im not saying he is as good as him but where is this team looking to go? do we want Nash playing the point in 3 years time? prob not so it owuld be better to let Felton do his thing IMO.
Its quite strange though, most New York media people dont want Nash ahead of Felton. Maybe we are just all delusional but im loving the way he goes about it. A absolute work horse both ends of the court

thats still 3 years away so playing in front of small crowds with a mediocre team in Jersey is worth the $65m ext then go for it.

3 Years?

Don't they plan to move there 2012-2013?

That is a year and a half away by my reckoning. :)

This is a perfectly reasonable argument, and I probably agree tbh. But make no mistake, Nash for Felton would improve you significantly this season (imo he would get you close to 55 wins, but you'd still probably be behind the East "Big 4").

they were saying on the radio the other week that it wouldnt be ready by then and it would be more 2-3 years

for sure but to be realistic we are not a title contender so im happy with making the playoffs and building from there with a good young core of players

Big Baby sure is shooting a lot lately.

The good news is that KG is likely back tomorrow, and Perk within 3 weeks.

IMO, the Knicks should be patient and try and build something with a young core. They've had years of mediocrity because of a "win now" attitude. Nash might improve them now, but they're not winning the title even with him, and he's not going to improve as he gets older.

knicks need a big man imo. if they could somehow pull a trade for someone like bogut they could compete.

Felton form 2011 > Nash form 2011

Give me something to back this up with please.

It's not right brother. Felton has improved but Nash is the better player this year.

Doesnt help Nash when he doesnt have anyone decent to feed the ball to, while Felton has a few guys who can play.

New York could do a lot worse then Nash. Even if he only plays 20 minutes a game by 2011/2012 he would be an excellent pickup IMO
