Excellent news , well done to all involved in getting the club heading in the right direction , both on and off the field. Now let's continue with the upward path with a good win today against the Crows and get that position back in the 8.

Go Tigers.

Thats how you do it Melbourne.:thumbsu:
Pretty sure they got debt free. Unfortunately sacking highly paid except and coaches combined with dire performance and crowds will put you right back to square 1.

and to think that less than 10 years ago we had terry wallace buying a can of paint and painting the club rooms by himself...

And by this time next year the AFL will bail out every club that cannot stand on its own two feet.

Well that's one part of 3-0-75 accomplished.

We should hopefully make the finals over the next two years and should be aiming for 68-70k members next year. If we do that we will have finished extremely close to the targets we have set.

Our plans for World domin.....er a successful club to win a premiership is coming together nicely.

Someone trying to convince me this isn't a good thing
Well, as I said, it isn't most 'definitely' a good thing. And why stop at 60000? No club sits back and takes that attitude. All clubs want to grow, and debt is essential to that. Gaining debt can be a big factor in financing more revenue-generating activities. Not saying Richmond aren't doing that, but the whole "president x cleared the debt = must be the greatest businessman ever" argument is misleading and a bit of a myth.

And also got the right people in for the right jobs and got them all pulling in the same direction.

Onya March, Benny and Dimma!

Well done tiger army!

The sleeping giant is awake and ready to start flexing its financial muscles :thumbsu:
