Well now that I'm home, and unsurprisingly this thread is now several pages long, I can expand a little more.
We did play well in the 2nd and 3rd quarters, or at least better. A few poor decisions, made from panic, and some by the umpires, cost us dearly.

Reid was so slow kicking out from the back line, and made some terrible decisions. It took players like Treloar, Adams and De Goey too long to get into the game but their last halves were good.
I never thought I'd say this, cos you all know what a sweet, fair-minded and forgiving person I am, but I don't ever want to to White play in the seniors again.
Sidebottom was good in the forward line, and we were so close to catching up.

They did play with heart, once they got into it, and didn't give up
Anyway, as someone said to me the other day, 'While there is life there is hope'

Our game plan is easy to play against and score against. Opposition teams often score in positions where it's hard for them to miss!

Where are we improving? Specific skills are going backwards, our game plan is outdated and our structure is pulled apart so easily. Our recruiting has been poor as well as a bit of bad luck with drafting seems to have us in a horrible spot.

our tackles are broken easily
Have zero perceived pressure
Inside 50 entry horrible
Can't hit a target around ground
Take wrong options indicating either zero game sense or message from coaches is wrong.

Simple basic things that don't have anything to do with skill - tackling, spreading, working two ways = non existent. This is what kills me.

Can't work this out! How are we so bad?

We look like a team built for 2006 not 2016...too much slow inside grunt and big cumbersome key position players. On the outside and in the running game we are miles off. Gameplan remains poor.
