Just wanted to say well done to your side for another intense derby. I'll leave you to analyse your team's performance, but I must say they had me nervous for 3 and a half quarters. Of course, the olive branch gets put away when next we meet.

Thanks for the olive branch. I will be much more happy when we can combine intensity with skill and precision. The number of times we turned it over in the first half having done all the hard work to put you guys under pressure, very depressing.

whilst 0-3 isnt great it isnt all over yet. As you already clearly know you really miss Johnson down back and Farmer up forward. I reckon you'll get 1 back next week, then get Johnson back and push for finals.

Top 4 ISN'T out of the question, all that is left to be answered is, do you deserve it? if you can make it from here then you clearly do. Obviously at this point in time...you don't. BUT, its round 3, still early days;)

Good luck!

Congrats on a good win guys, you certainly deserved it and wanted it more than us.

Also, congrats on coming on and not sticking the boots in. Kudos.

See you for the derby later in the year.

so I'm the one who has to say it.... geez....

WeT Toaster Fan:confused:

You know where you can shove your olive branch....

This rivalry will go on for a long time, long after we're all dead & gone.

No Retreat, No Surrender

Please save us the false fair sportsmanship dribble, you don't mean it. Really, would you have posted here if we won? pfffft I doubt it.

so much pent up anger and frustration!

For me yes, i would have posted. if you want, check, after almost every derby (win or lose) since 2000 I have come on and posted either a 'well done' or 'comiserations'.

I love the rivalry...i will be at it for a long time to come, but I also am a fan of sportsmanship and think sport misses it these days, i reckon it adds to rivalry!

Anyway, good luck! Go quagmire!

We need more intelligent footy banter and discussion in this state. Crap like that makes us all look stupid.

Well that didn't last long.

Agreed , thanks fella.s. WC played better. I was pleased with the intensity however and defensive pressure.

If We had not continually kicked over the forwards heads or a yard in front of their toes We may have done better.

Heath black will be back next week. We really miss His and Johnno 's long precise kicks over the congestion.

why don't you serve some of that hatred at some of your fellow fans ...who have given up after 3 games :/

No... that kind of behaviour is more a West Coast Supporter thing.... I'll leave that you you guys.
Honestly, you make me smile with mirth.

You come in here taking the high stance with your scum mates telling me I should'nt tell you to take your olive branch and ...

Please... if you don't like what you read, feel free to go to your own board.

There are a many many Freo' fans like myself that arent slagging of our own team, but realise it's only 3 games in and we still have every chance like anyone else to make the finals. If bandwagoners leave then good, they can go back to supporting your lot.

There is no hatred in my words.

I just don't like false sentiment.

Again, dont take the high moral stance.

I heard racist drivel from WCE fans at the game that can't name players other than Judd, Kerr and Cousins in there team, but can call Farmer & Headland and even Bell f--ked racist names. Heck, I've even heard them dump on your own player Sampi.

Car'n Dockers

so much pent up anger and frustration!

no.. I'm just telling it like it is. No anger or frustration. Anger is non productive and leads to the dark side of the force. I'm sorry I didnt use pretty words to make the same point to make you feel better.
:o my oopsie!

For me yes, i would have posted. if you want, check, after almost every derby (win or lose) since 2000 I have come on and posted either a 'well done' or 'comiserations'.

You must be very proud of yourself.

I love the rivalry...i will be at it for a long time to come, but I also am a fan of sportsmanship and think sport misses it these days, i reckon it adds to rivalry!

I love the rivalry as well. Agreed, fair sportsmanship is to always be applauded and sadly the AFL lacks it at times.
But, with this statement do you mean the lack of sportsmanship adds to our rivalry? ..... Cause' Selwood's verbal sportsmanship against Dessie was not cool, who in turn was unsportsmanlike as well by allegedly smacking Selwood, who in turn was unsportsman like by raking Dessie's eyes and face. Be interesting to find out what was spoken there.????
How about Seabys behind the play blooper that broke Sandilands jaw in the 2006 first derby. That was fair sportsmanship to - adds to the rivalry huh?. Sandi did'nt even name Seaby at the tribunal. How's that for fair sportsmanship. Sandi's jaw didnt breake itself.

I sincerely hope you do discover where your location is. I'm sure we could sit down and enjoy a flat white together and further expand on sportsmanship and the lack of it in sports and you can continue to wish the Dockers well if that razzles your ratchet ;) ....

Wasn't the highest quality game, ball handling was pretty poor from both sides.

I agree, west coast fumbled the ball a lot and Judd had a bit of a shocker (by Judd's lofty standards). Eagles played less crap than us and got the four points.

hehe no, by no means does lack of sportsmanship add to our rivalry. Whatever Selwood said (for, as much as I dislike headland at times...SOMETHING had to set him off) I am sure is wrong and I am very disappointed. However, i will wait till the full story is out.

Regarding the Seaby and Sandi incident...I'm quite a pick to talk to actually! I honestly believe that whatever happened, it wasn't Seaby's intention. Why do i say this with certainty? I am one of his mates and know him too well. Whilst I will openly admit it was most certainly Seaby that broke his jaw, I very highly doubt it was malicious. Anyone who knows Seaby would attest to his character. Seaby profusely apologised to Sandi after the incident and they are both quite fine with the situation...they being the only 2 that actually matter.

Good sportsmanship is missed often...but it is there occassionally, and whilst some of these 'commiserations' posts may be false spaortsmanship...please be assured, mine is genuine:)

Honestly, good luck to Freo, I hope you guys get off your duck soon and fulfil the very strong potential your list has!:)

O... K..., if you break someones jaw.... BUT didnt do it with malicious intensions.. that makes it okay:confused: .
Is that how all these scumbags who bash people in Northbridge at night and place them in a Coma and snap there jaw get off scot free all the time? Is thaqt there arguement? <-- social question
Still, the fact is Seaby did indeed get off without charge, and well lately the dockers jusy have to look at someone and we're getting charged with something. There is no parity in that result.
I do enjoy this banter with you, as at least it hasent degenerated into pointless personal name calling and I hope it dosent, HOWEVER what your club has done in the 48 hours is far from sporting, ie Carr gets suspended on anticdoctel evidence form Chick.. pppffft please:cool: how can chick be impartial or objective in laying a complaint. There isnt even footage of it apparently and no umpire saw it.
Whilst your fellow eagles fans seem to think Selwood is a saint and should be excused.
Headland shouldnt have lost his cool, I totally agree with that. He's gone for 4 weeks, however I am a father as well, and if you are as well, then you would recognise that having your children being attacked verbally or physically by some other ******** is absolutely out of bounds. PERIOD.

YOU personally can wish my team well, whilst your club continues to act very unsportsman like towards ours. Why should you care though. We are almost gone for the season alreadyand thats all you West Coasters really want anyways. You never did like us from the start in '95. Lets be honest here. I'm not saying we show be in co-hoots but you guys set the tempo which still exsists today.
God Save Us - where will we go from here in regards to our clubs playing each other. Will we copy European soccer? Will the next Derby see crowd violence? Unfortuately our little game of footy has gone on the backburner as this little war with the hype of the media escalates.
I hope we can just enjoy the game ad speak about the players, maggots, stupid rule changes or whatever is game related. We are far from that ATM with both clubs aggreived at eachother.
It's like you offer an olive branch in one hand whilst giving a biatch slap with the other... confusing
And they say we havent got the fiercest rivalry going around.....

O... K..., if you break someones jaw.... BUT didnt do it with malicious intensions.. that makes it okay:confused:

Sandilands and your own trainer (who was the only other person on the ground who saw it) both testified in defense of Seaby.

And yes, if you break someone's jaw without malicious intentions, it's called an accident. Think in footy when two players have a head clash. Someone gets injured, but there was no intention from the other party to do any sort of injury (as you said, "malicious intensions (sic)"), and no report is laid as it is something that happens in a contact sport. Fairly simple.

Nightfury: Comparing a broken jaw in a contact sport such as football to a fight in northbridge.

End the discussion here, this guy has no idea!

Pffft your as bad as a politician.
If your gonna try to quote me, then use the whole statement. I typed next that Northbridge comment, that it was social comment, in which it's something that is a problem for us all. That was not a Freo Vs WCE thing - as in relation to that Derby when Seaby broke Sandi's jaw. You Knob. Just go back to WCE board you silly person. ROFL bluey17
