Re: Omg

It's best that we lost it, probably.

Still far too many pretenders in this team.

Re: Omg

Hard loss to take but you can't blame the loss on hunter for that tackle. Maybe for his poor kicking or fletchers poor disposal or stakes for not taking the chanses he had but one act shouldn't cost you a game.

Re: Omg

...

I have no words to express what I feel atm.

Seriously im gutted for you, you deserved to win that and unfortunately it wasn't to be. Bad luck boys but good signs tonight. You beat a good side for most of the night and played good footy and just very unlucky in the end.

Re: Omg

Didn't play well enough, or make the right decisions, when the pressure was on I'm afraid. Disapointed that we lost, but while I'm (really) frustrated right now, what's it matter?
We're not going to influence this season, and it's just a reminder to the players that you need to perform at your optimum for the full 4 quarters of the game.

Re: Omg

I dont really care to be honest.

I mean it would have been good to win but geez they had a crack.

Last week was pathetic and they deserved to be bagged for that.

But they all had a crack tonight and of course they are gonna make errors.

Some bloody good signs though.

I thought Butler was Friggin' AWESOME!!! :thumbsu:

Re: Omg

wtfffffffffff hunter stuffed up big time.:mad::mad::mad::mad::mad:

Way to go Hunter!! Two games against the Swans this year, shamed yourself in both of them.

Bloody heatbreaking loss, and missed oppourtunities were a killer but hard to single out one player guys... or even two or three for that matter. Lynch, Hunter and even Staker played good games (for all their misses), took some great contested marks, put some pressure in the forward line ... just didn't take their ops when they should've.

I was more disappointed with our continued 'bomb it' strategy. Soooo many times with Sydney flooding back boys would just kick long (and usually to the three on one)... that disappointed me more than the misses in front of goal.. very poor decision making in that situation.. unless thats what they've been told to do by the coaches!

Re: Omg

Heh, it's a funny feeling. I was so pissed for the majority of the game (probably 2nd quarter onwards) because I could just sense the Swines would run over us. I was so angry when Girly Name got the free kick.

But as soon as the siren went, it wasn't that heartbreaking. Would have loved the win (now, it's instant delete from my HDD) but better to have these losses in a crap year than in a grand final.... hang on... :p

Re: Omg

Actuallly now I think about it - was similar to the 05 GF.

We were about 2 and a bit goals up in that game with 8 mins to go as well.

This game didnt have quite as much riding on it.

Put it in perspective.

If Sydney play like that 1st half Vs Cats or Hawks it bye bye swans.:p

Re: Omg

suppose there is 1 good thing even if we did win we wouldn't of gone up the ladder:rolleyes:

Agreed however that would have worked A LOT better with both McKinley and Kennedy in the team.

Sad times :(

On a lighter note. How good was the chase and tackling by the young guys. Davis was brilliant especially and Houlihans effort on chasing Goodes was another beauty.
