Ok, i have two things. Both kind of worrying.

Firstly, what do you think this whole Fevola thing will do to team bonding at Carlton? With Setanta and Aisake down there? Do you think it will create a bit of tension? Sh1t I hope not :(

Secondly, and on a more serious note, I do not want Ty Zantuck. I have realised that a lot of supporters agree with me. He does not have the attitude, and we do not need a party boy. As i posted somewhere else, if Sheedy couldn't fix him, no-one could.

I think we should petition, or go down to training, and corner Dennis. I really think the fans should stand up. If we take Zantuck, it will be a big step backwards.

I think the club has made some ok choices lately, i do not want them to pick up Zantuck, because then it will seem that we are all just going around in circles again.

Maybe i'm just over-reacting, i dont know. Someone prove me wrong.

I suggest that aside from the publicity, no-one at Carlton gives a toss about Fevola. They all know he's a bit of a tosser, and I guess they'd prefer that he wasn't in the limelight, but at the end of the day he's the only star player we have, and the rest of the team have to have someone to shank kicks off their knees to at full-forward.

As for Zantuck, he's only training with the squad, and I suggest any chance of his being recruited would be based on his having matured somewhat, and having something to offer the group. Given that Pagan is a pretty hard-assed coach, who has turned around troubled guys in the past, thats the one decision I'm happy with the club making. At the end of the day, even if we sign him to a 1-year deal, he'll probably be better than the alternative, and an obvious delisting candidate in a years time if he doesn't perform. Not a great deal to lose there either way.

Neither of these issues are that big a deal, in comparison to some of the huge errors we have made in the past few weeks, months and years.

I hear you loud and clear

AWG, for what it's worth, here are some 'great' names to consider

Let's go back a few years at the famous/infamous decisions made by the great club.
Frank Marchesani - Greg Wells - Mario Bortolotto - Val Perovic - Dean Rice - Matthew Hogg - Glen Manton - Glen Hawker - Earl Spalding - Mick McGuane - Andrew Eccles - David Clarke (Snr & Jnr) - Troy Longmuir - Callum Chambers - etc. etc .........................
Could go on by I won't! Just like buying a used car, you never know what you might end up with but could well be worth a shot.
I know I've left out many many more recycled players who have/have not proven their worth but you must admit there's always going to be a smokey here or there.
I'm not saying we need to look at Zantuck, I'm not saying we shouldn't consider him BUT there is always a chance that ANY player who's played at the highest level is certainly worth a punt....look at Heath Scotland.
Age aside, a player needs to impress the people that matter, those who make the decisions and unfortunately we're not in a position to influence the great men at Princes Park.
By the by, Fevola is a troublesome lad but he can play footy and at the end of the day we gotta love what he does wearing no 25. Should he muck up again (I doubt he'll even consider it when he's back home) then the club needs to make a very tough decision....that's what I reckon, anyway.

Wouldn't have thought so. I'm sure all of the Carlton players, coaches and support staff will just be happy to have him back at Princes Park.

I'm not convinced that Zantuck would be considered in this draft, even though he is training with the club. The guy would be a liability of the greatest order, and the club would be better off stearing well clear of him.
