Hi Guys,

Genuinely feel for you guys - you're some of the most loyal, sincere supporters out there.

You'd be ****ing hating football at the moment, understandably.

But, keep in mind, once Wallace is gone (should be Monday), things can turn around very, very quickly.

Geelong went from rubbish and on the verge of sacking their Coach to a Flag within 2 years.

Clarkson took Hawks to a flag within 4.

Power were rubbish last year, seem to be back in the mix this year.

St Kilda were on the slide, yet now they're dominating.

Hard decisions need to be made at your Club, but hopefully they will be soon, and then, you can at least take some enjoyment and excitement from a new Coaching Staff which will develop your team and allow you to seem them improving over the weeks.

^^ Agree. New blood and new ideas in the coaching department are what's needed. I saw signs in the first quarter of what you blokes are capable, and you nearly booted us off our own dunghill earlier in the season. That game against North - I reckon you're capable of playing like that more often if you'd only believe in yourselves a bit more.

Your depressed, your the depressed. I'm the fat one! Maybe the best thing about Wallace being fired is that I won't eat so much and lose these chubby love handles.

We did actually win 10 games and draw one in 2006. It was a disaster because we started the season as premiership favourites and missed the 8, it wasn't as if we were spoon candidates or anything.

That's kinda my point though - you can go from Flag Favourites, to crap, to Flag Contenders, in pretty quick fashion.

IDGAF - Apologies if it came across as condescending at all, wasn't my intention. I guess I feel sorry for your supporters, but I know that when you're in a position like you guys are, it's pretty much all gloom and doom (fair enough) and you sometimes forget that there is normally light at the end of the tunnel :)

the bright side is
ben cousins looks to still have it
graham looks like he could be our number 1 ruckman
we have the chance to get the number 1 pick in the last draft
and we have a few good players to come back in

FULLSTOP

Not at all King E... appreciate your sentiments .

I took it in the spirit it was intended ... self depreciation is an artform around here

Hmmm maybe, but a tunnel that takes 30 years to get through is a bloody long tunnel. I think we can see the light, but we've become so accustomed to the tunnel that we are scared of the light and back away, not knowing what it is or how to approach it.

But maybe things will change soon...:(

cant take a trick. bombers are 4-3, dockers are 3-4, roos 3-4 and tigers 1-6. they have fallen behind because of the lack of a forward line and lack of running players willing to carry the ball forward. they always seem to go backward or sideways once they hit the center line and this is why they have so many turnovers.

Except in our case the tunnel is the tunnel under the English Channel, and the driver is blind with no arms or legs.

We'll get out eventually, provided we don't starve to death somewhere in the middle.

Not if melbourne win less than 4 games we won't. They'll get picks 1 and 2 if they finish last and we finish 2nd last And picks 1 & 3 if we finish last and they win less than 4 games. Priority pick.

But will we come out the other side, or turn around and come back the way we came?

I'd take the latter, seeing as we never make progress...Never cross that half way point...
