Carlton could never relocate to the Gold Coast.

We would have to change the colour of our jumpers and therefore change our name to make the move.

For some reason QLD'ers hate the colour blue in favour of some dirty brownish red colour called maroon.

As a New South Welshman, I can't for the life of my understand this biased towards that fantastic colour blue...

So it is probably a good thing that those scum from Arden street are going to be making the move... Maybe they could wear those jaffer orange and white jumpers from a couple of years ago as their new colours...

Now that we have a competitive team, our supporters will all be starting to jump back on the bandwagon, because they will finally have something to cheer about.

Eddie has been talking of the Pies doing a relocation to the Gold Coast. Perhaps in a few years time the Victorian Magpies, can merge with the South Australian Magpies, and also have this Gold Coast branch as well.

Simple.We have too many supporters for the AFL is even consider it. The biggest factor the AFL considers is not how much money a club has, its how muchsupport they have. Becuase any move by a team interstate will result in a loss of support for that team, and inevitably a loss of support (and thus membership) for the game in general.

If youneed to move a team, you start with the team with the least members in order to mitigate the loss. Balance between long term gain and short term conservatism.
