leppitsch tomorrow night
Should actually have played for the Hawks, but we let him walk.
What claim did you have to him?
Brisbane selected him as a 17-year-old with the #4 pick in the 1992 National Draft.

Both he & Aaron Lord were on our list as juniors....We cut them both sadly, when squad numbers were drastically reduced the following season.
Fair enough. Sometimes you forget that there was other pathways into the league back then.
Interesting to note that Lord and Brisbane's "other" top selection in the 1992 National Draft (Nathan Chapman, selected with the #2 Pick) both eventually played for Hawthorn.
Can never understand posts like this, with a good interviewer and personable interviewee with that sort of experience there's always a great story or at least something of interest. Same goes in general in everyday life, everyone has got a story worth telling.

And I was right. Snoozefest.
Much as I hate to say it, Fevola might be worth looking at. I know he is in the media etc but behind all the schtick is a story worth looking at if he is willing to tell it...Carlton years. 99 goals, the trade to Brisbane after the Street Talk Brownlow fiasco, the gambling etc
I think we heard it all. Rather hear from him again in another 5 to 10 years to fully see how his life pans out with his wife and finances after such a rocky road, not too long ago. Still too soon for mine. Many players still playing he knows and will not share everything he might when careers are over. The guys that been retired over a decade always seem far more interesting as they willing to be far more "open" with what they share.
Was this on last night? I'm presuming it was but it failed to make the top 20 most watched Pay-TV shows (min 35K) which it almost always did comfortably in previous years.
Clearly the public has lost interest in a format that's gone stale and went a year too long (and judging by the lack of discussion of the first couple of shows, this forum has lost interest in the show).
I've already suggested Dennis Cometti. What would you say to that?If they piss off Mike who do they replace him with?
I sure as hell couldn't sit through Gerard or Robbo conducting an interview. I dont watch 360, however seen about 5 mins last night when they were speaking to the coach and player from the Bulldogs AFLW team and his line of questioning was so ridiculously stupid and uninformative.

That's actually a great idea. They could make it the handover show.I would like to see Denis interviewed first if he hasnt already.
One of the better questions to ask Commetti about is Dave Granger. Really hot for him at the time in the late 70s early 80sI would like to see Denis interviewed first if he hasnt already.
He would have 10 hours worth of stories and tidbits.
