You go to their board just so you can get offended. Don't try to justify it and don't patronise me because of your own insecurity.

I also don't like opposition supporters slagging off my team and I will report the first one coming here and doing it but on their own board, they are free to have a group therapy session on why they are inferior to my team and if that makes them feel like big men, then good on them. As soon as somebody says that Paddy is a seagull or Talia is a cheat, that just tells me straight up that they have no idea about football and only follow a team because they need to belong to something.

Back on topic though, I hear we may have won today, good stuff boys.

When I made tghe comment that Richmond would make the top 4 - that was reported back to there board within 20 minutes and just love setting them up with some silly comments. 98 reasons to go down.

Why would anyone hold a grudge against any guy getting an opportunity at being a senior coach? What happened with Walsh was the exact same thing that happened with Ken.
He finally got to prove himself as a senior coach after so many years as an assistant, and how cool has it been for everyone in the AFL to see him succeed?
I didnt see Gold Coast supporters acting like little kids when Ken went to PAP. They werr happy for them.

If it keeps all the Port board talk in one thread then I guess I can see the point of it because clearly some posters here are never going to stop whinging about Port posters and the Port board. Would much prefer it didn't exist at all though.

I assume mods will now be taking a much tougher stance on Port board talk outside of this thread?

As far as I can tell they think that Talia scrags a bit and compare him to SOS.

Tex made Alifatty look fourth rate. Yet Schulz only got on the scoreboard when the game was done. Much like Hawkins last week.

Is a shame we don't have a genuine second KPD, spuds like Clarke and Butcher have taken advantage of that the last two weeks. Would hate to think that could cost us in a real game.

I reckon Tex in Walsh's paddock 1:1 is going to worry plenty of opposition.

Butcher got his 5 goals / straightish kicking game out of the way for the season... Though westoff saving himself for the real showdown.

shutdown Shultz, no Ryder & I reckon port will need good goal kicking contribution from their smalls.

I guess not many of them who have just discovered "their" club remember Daryl Wakelin. He was a master at hanging on and impeding his opponent and getting away with it.


All great fullbacks have the ability to hold their opponent back (ie scragging) and get away with it. It is something Carlile needs to learn. To often there is to much separation between him and his opponent. Tex took full advantage of this. As he did in the second Showdown last year.
