Season Over! day on the Carlton board has come early this year.

Do yourselves a favour if you have'nt already.

Damn, the Bluebaggers are really turning on their own...

"I’m 32 years old and have been a member for 25 of those. I’m as desperate for success and as disappointed with our current mediocrity as anyone. But ffs the vibe at our home games is abhorrent. Toxic, disgusting behaviour from our so called fans. The footy is not a safe place for kids any more. The rubbish I’ve heard these past two weeks - homophobic slurs, disabled slurs, sexist slurs, constant verbal abuse at the players, fights. If this is you, grow tf up or stop going to the footy. It used to be fun. Even when we sucked a lot more than we do right now. Go baggers."

How very, very sad.

The amusing part is that after that shambolic first half in which they scored 10 points, they lost the second half too. So much for a “comeback”.

Adelaide wins tomorrow at home and Carltank are out of the eight again.

How do you kick 10 points in a half with two Colemen Medalists in your forward line and the reigning Brownlow Medalist in your midfield? I'll tell ya how, most of their teammates are spuds.

Carlton are also coached very poorly.

Voss is trying to implement a Port Adelaide style territory game that's reliant on winning clearances and gaining territory, with the theory that repeat entries will lead to goals. This though completely neutralises his two biggest weapons, which is exacerbated by the fact that they don't possess a quality small forward and are reliant on Silvagni as a third tall.

Opposition coaches know that if you can slow the ball movement down from the back you can buy yourself enough time to get enough numbers into Carlton's forward line. From there you need some dash and some courage which, if successful, leads to scoring chains generated from your own back 50.

Carlton are at their most dangerous when they move the ball forward as quickly as possible, preferably through the corridor.
