There is a question mark over Cripps’ body (and therefore his impact) deteriorating as the year progresses, but otherwise they look ominous.

Good on them, they’ve had it tough for a long time.

I kinda feel the same. I have the extreme displeasure of knowing a lot of long suffering Blues supporters. First it was funny, then funny but sad, then hilarious. This is nice for them. Hope is nice.. and all the funnier when they bottle it. F### the Blues.

I'm a bit torn. I tipped the Bulldogs, and I'd love to see Carlton lose this after dominating all night. It'd be very Carlton like.

But the Dogs going 0-2 would be interesting.

That said good teams from the year prior often start shaky. There has to be something in the later pre-season start. Brisbane had a shocking start last year and we almost laid them to rest.
