Was sitting in front of Ottens at the Under 18 championships today and heard him say to Mackie and Bartel that he cant run and wont play this week

Awww gawd! Against Everitt in the ruck i think we need both King and Ottens. Otto helps our forwardline structure. Kingsly has played alot better this year because Ottens it taking alot of pressure of him in the forwardline

Thats a big blow to the side.

How is everyone else that is injured travelling? Will anyone return this week?

Ottens is out again this week - he's pulled his heart muscle!

Don't worry Cats fans, you will soon learn (the hard way) how soft he is.

Not sure about that. Last year in Round 22 King absolutely slaughtered Everitt singlehandedly, a big reason why we won by over 10 goals. So although King's form has been patchy I wouldn't assume he's going to lose every ruck contest just yet.

i just hope the fortnight off has allowed that shoulder of his to settle down more. Ottens will be missed, yes, but if, on the off chance that McCarthy is picked, then we will have another big lump in the forward line to maybe take inside 50 ruck duties.

Another chance for Chambers to prove he has got what it takes. Hes an honest goer, him and King v Spider. Give Chambers some credit.

our midfield will have to step up and stiffle Everetts effectiveness by getting to the drop of the ball before the hawk midfield.

It's possibly looming as a danger game :(

At least you'll know he'll put his body on the line and give you a contest. I wish I could say the same about our captain...
