I'm interested to hear what fellow supporters think about our on field attitude. After watching geelong vs port today I noticed that a lot of the geelong players would help the port players up or even rub them on the head. Not sure if this was condescending or just good sportsmanship.
Either way I think we know that geelong is not a dirty team and rarely starts any ruckus.. Which is just another reason to respect what they have done in the last few years of dominance. Perhaps it has had a few and I mean a FEW minor blemishes like Hunt and Scarlett.. But I see some similarities between us and them however I'm wondering what you guys think about it?
Danger gets hit vs. GWS by palmer and gets straight up and 20-30 seconds later you see him leading into the fwd line instead of retaliating after going down.
Tex is wrestling a bulldog on the goal line after danger kicks the goal.. Another bulldog comes in and gets involved danger goes over to tex pulls them apart and tells tex to chill...
I guess this prob proves alot about dangers leadership and why I love him however..
Last year doughty (pepper) got hit after going out of bounds and Reilly (salt) came in and got stuck in.. Personally I also loved seeing our players not take any sh**...
This may seem like a bit of a ramble lol but I guess I'm saying I love how were a clean team but do you think we need to stick up for ourselves more often?
