I think we all want to see the young guys in the team and they’ll all get a chance through form and injury but it’s up to them to push the older guys out

Round 1 side only.

I don't think it will line up without Hopper and Prestia, but that is what I think our best side Rd.1 would be. Short scrapes in due to might need a bit less size in backline and could also play wing rotation. Grjl hot on his heels.

I think this is the year that Ross really comes on. I think he is a better player than Hopper. And McAuliffe over Prestia, can't be left out because we need a raking left footer who is quick and tough (point of difference).

Would like Sims in but not likely due to injury. Ryan sneaks in for the time being as he can play a bit forward and gives Lynch a rest as well (otherwise I reckon Hayes-Brown will pass him as a ruckman).

Bolded players are the ones most likely to make way eg. Hugo for Retschko or Grjl.
Broad on a wing is contentious, but making way for youth in our backline, Gibcus and Trainor, and I can't leave him out because still a very good player. Might do a Richo on the wing.
