I reckon a few will have him on ignore when they see that team. Bad enough Ralphsmith and Ryan are playing but a starting midfield of Hopper, Taranto and Prestia has me hoping we're playing an opposition with a slower midfield than us.

Did he say that they'll all be in there at the same time? Play all three if you must, but spread them out with at least one younger/faster on-baller with them. Anyone. Ross is faster. MacAuliffe is faster. Lalor, Sonsie, Hotton, Campbell, Rioli...they're all faster.

Just one of them in there with 2 of Taranto, Prestia and Hopper would make a difference. I think anyway.

I'm not sure there is one.

It's not the team that I'd pick, but the team I believe that Yze will start the season with. If the year goes as expected, then I can see some major changes happening and the team looking a lot different come the end of the year.

We know that midfield mix is junk. We saw that we played better football with one of the main three out of the side (Prestia). Absolutely no reason to run that set up again. Rotate the kids through more, and use the extra bench spot for another kid to share the load. Keep Prestia as back up in the ressies in case one of Hopper or Taranto go down.

I think alot of people are bored

If he is fit he plays and might get rested 3-4 games this year but thats about it.
Kids will need to dominate in the 2's to take his spot

The new ruck rules, particularly the one where umps can toss the ball up and not wait for a ruck nomination, will mean that Nank would work between the arcs, Balta to take defensive half ruck contests, Sims/Ryan in the forward half as well as rotating through centre ball ups when Nank rests.

I agree but I have a feeling Cumming is ready to go and will overtake them pretty quick
