First Choice Victorian Full-back from 1919-1924.
2 times 'Champion of the Colony' - the pre-1924 Brownlow. Not bad from Full-back.
Rated by Dick Lee (Collingwood FF) as the best player he played on - he also said that he was better than Jack Regan (rated by many as the best FB ever) - this is a Collingwood legend saying this.
With that in mind - maybe he should get more consideration.
That's the problem with the really old legends - we just don't have the knowledge about them.
