only 5 interstate trips......
so that means 17 wins is still on track
Honestly I’d piss myself laughing if we lost all interstate games but won all Melbourne games and still finished top 2.

Seriously it’d be awesome. :D

Garbage. Garbage. Garbage.
Its like they got the idea for this article from Facebook comments.

Last years ladder positions sure do have way more relevance than this years ladder positions /s
But I guess you gotta fit the narrative. Cant be saying they beat 3rd by 7 goals, beat 7th away from the G and only losses are the 2 toughest tasks in footy (Not including Richmond at the G). Or than until we play both West Coast and Adelaide at the G it makes no sense judging and comparing the teams.

But clearly weve had a super easy draw and basically given the 4 points most games.
Thats of course disregarding Melbourne are 6-2 not against us, North have beat Swans at the SCG and Giants, Hawks have beat Cats and Demons and Pies have beat Crows at AO.
So weird that other 'good' teams lost to these easy beats.

All in all its kind of bizarre to write an article about a teams worrying form when they have won 16/19 most recent games. With the only losses being Geelong in Geelong, Adelaide in Adelaide and Eagles in Perth. Cant win em all.

Extra note - Our lowest score so far this year is 82. Which is the best in the league for a lowest score.
Last year we scored under that 11 times in the home and away season. Shit like that shows me we have improved on last year which is all Im looking for at the moment. Of course we arent going to be playing our highest intensity footy like we did in the finals during the year.
As long as we continue sitting above where we were the same time last year, we are in a very good spot.

Melbourne v West Coast Grand Final guaranteed... for this week anyway.
Which is bizarre because Melbourne has had a much easier draw.

Melbourne has beaten 7th, 14th, 15th, 16th, 17th, 18th. Lost to 2nd, 8th and 9th all at the MCG.
Richmond has beaten 3rd, 7th, 9th, 10th, 12th, 17th and 18th. Lost to 1st and 4th away from the MCG.

But somehow its Richmond thats getting the soft draw excuse? Because people are looking at last years ladder instead of this years one? And that they are losing at home instead of away? Lmao.

Yep seasons over now.. premiership hangover bout to kick in. The first 9 rounds were like waking up still drunk after a sold session now the sobering up starts do does the hangover #ecoagain

Win 17 games in Melbourne, lose 5 interstate
Finish 3rd
Play Geelong away in the QF (MCG)
Play whoever at home in the PF (MCG)
Play West Coast away in the GF (MCG)

Win all to win the flag without even winning once interstate.

They say you're only as good as your last article.
Is Jennifer's form something to worry about?

We are 7-2, 5-4 at the same stage last year with 4 consecutive losses.
We are 4-1 on the current form ladder averaging 92ppg, where's the GWS article, they are 1-3-1 from the last 5 averaging 62ppg.

We beat North Melbourne who on either side of that result, destroyed GWS and beat Sydney in Sydney.
Our 4 games prior to that we took apart Fremantle 110-33, Collingwood 113-70, Melbourne 102-56 and Brisbane 110-17.

I said it a few weeks ago, whatever our draw is, we haven't been "falling over the line" against the weaker teams, we have been thumping them, at both ends of the ground.

The way media street has carried on, it's as though we are the only team to lose in Perth for the last 15 years.

So almost exact same results as last year? I could get behind that. :D

The BigFooty interwebs would explode bruh

Media and most footy fans still aren’t convinced we are the real deal, which is exactly what we want!

Obviously it’s not easy to change perceptions when they have been ingrained for 35 years.

The glee in Anthony Hudson’s voice on Sunday said it all. Many waiting with bated breath for us to crumble.

"Playing a bunch of bottom-eight sides from last year early on had to come with a cost and here it is – from their remaining 13 games, eight will be against 2017 finalists, including double bouts against Essendon and Geelong."

four games against essendon and geelong on the G why are the AFL fixturing gods so cruel to us
