What the hell is going on here?

Earlier in the year we were one of the quickest starting teams going around. We'd come out, switched on, and challenge the opposing team to keep up.

Now, it's turned completely around. For the last 6 weeks or so (the Eagles game being the best example from our perspective), we've come out and been dead on our feet. It's been a case of holding on until something finally switches in the players brains, and they remember how to play footy.

I can't work it out. Why is this happening? Obviously we still have a major problem with playing 4 quarters, but you can only have so many miraculous come-backs before you start getting results like the previous month.

Surely the coaching staff have been looking at it. Is it mental? Or a result of conditioning or training? It's driving me ****ing banana's though

to be honest im not to worried about that, that can change, just need to work on the mindset and game preparation, i was a lot more worried when we had the good starts and couldnt maintain the pressure needed to keep the lead, that said something about our fitness but now its just changing the mindset and game preparation... a much easier task if you ask me..

just as an additional note, mcveigh should be our captain, he always stands up when he needs to, would be a great leader...
