Our Supercoach Leagues.

Hey, just thought I'd start this so we could compare the 2 SuperCoach leagues we have going.

I'm in Division 2 with DTM and a few others, and at the moment our league is 803rd out of the 25,000 league.

Can someone in Division 1 post what ranking your league is please, and we can make it a contest all year.

The Big Footy Magpies (735492) is currently 1780 of 25215. So we're not doing too shabby, but we're not quite at the giddy heights of you lot

I blame myself, partly, for early inclusions of Heath Shaw (not a good earner), Raines (bloody injuries) and a few other duds. Luckily Fraser, Lockyer, Goddard, J Selwood, Swan, Davis and a few others have been propping me up to a respectable score.

This week I look forward to the intra-league duel with Optimax - coincidentally the sashs vs the stripes on the same weekend as Anzac Day

The sledging on our league board is quite disappointing. It's all a bit tame really...

Magpies Div 1 are currently in 86th averaging a healthy 2086.
We only have 4 players averaging below 2000 at the moment.

NT.Thunder is smashing in our league - he is averaging 2329 pts/week eek, ranked inside the top 100 & is 300 pts ahead of 2nd place (B&W Army).

I'm in 3 leagues, including yours RRRooocccaaa, and obviously you're a gun. I scored a PB on the weekend of 1,964, but I'm still below average. I'm aiming to breal the 2,000 barrier this week. Not that Heath Shaw's going to be any help.

We should promote Ali to division one. Currently averaging 2335 and is ranked 69th!

That's the best I've seen yet. Is it too late to join?

Yeah it's too late, they fill all leagues up when round 1 started. I found this out when my friendly league had 3 randoms added without anyone in the league knowing.

Should do some research next year, and get the best 16 finishers from this year into league 1, next 16 into league 2 etc.

We can all just hope that Wixism or another BF Collingwood poster can go all the way and win the prize at the end of the year.

I was averaging 2174 in my first 3 weeks until Birchall decided to get injuried and leave me one defender short and Didak, Petrie and Fevola decided to have stinkers for me, dragging me down to a pathetic 1931 in Round 1, costing me a 27 point loss. Very frustrated.

Now I have Sandilands, Travis Tuck and Josh kennedy in my team, but they don't seem to be doing very well. What's the story there? Is there something I should know about injuries for example?

Travis Tuck has missed a couple with a shoulder, but he should be right to go this week.
Sandilands is just out of form (especially SC wise) & Kennedy can't make his way into the WC lineup at all.

Instead of Kennedy, you should've gone for Mitch Brown, if you're after an emergency, but even as a cheap 6th forward, Brown is a good option, I've got him as my forward emergency, along side the useless Gumbleton.
(I was going to get rid of him with 1 hour left of unlimited trade but all you people were using SC, thus it wouldn't load, and it'll cost me a trade this year)

Also, if you want another ruck option for Sandi, I don't know how much McIntosh's value has moved, but he is in my team, and I'd consider Ottens when he returns, he scored remarkably in the first week of the season, and needs one more game before his value changes. (Only played 2 games so far. 3 is the minimum for value changes.)

Finally, how about swapping Tuck of Jobe Watson. My old man has Watson, and he is doing very well for him. Beams and Sidebottom are both cheap alternatives.

I've had a disappointing run with injury, losing Ottens/Anthony/Raines/Skipworth, but so far I'm conserving trades and looking to make some upgrades when the prices level out. I'm averaging over 2000, but as another non-Ablett-ed team I'm struggling to compete early in the season. It will only get better from here.
