Agreed, but sometimes I think I'm the only Bomber fan left, who still appreciates Hird. Have I missed something?

Peverill possibly, Rama close, but not absolutely untouchable, and a few others in that boat.

I know Hird gets injured, but he's really not one you could get rid of. How would you justify it? He's awesome when he's playing, and he's devoted, his foot injuries were 3 years ago, and as for his face injury... it could have happened to anyone. So as he is at the moment, I'd say he's pretty much untouchable. If he's not, he should be.

Not just the foot injuries. Groin, broken finger, knee troubles, etc. I love the guy as much as any Essendon supporter, but let's face it his career is nearly over. I would certainly consider a Reiwoldt-Hird trade. The team is bigger than one player and you have to look to the future.

Nah I'm with ya ellie, I still appreciate him. I would never, ever consider trading him. Of course it's not up to me, but I don't think the Essendon board would contemplate it either.

I think Hird should be in our untouchables, I know theres not much sentiment left in football these days but it would be a travesty if Hird ever played in a jumper other than ours.

He is better with Solomon and Fletcher around him,was shown up by Tredrea, completely out of his depth, while his five goals were kicked in junk time,particularly the ones v port and the filth.

yeah, fair call.

I think Jacobs is certainly tradeable. I think Peverill would not be traded as long as Sheeds is at the club, along with M.Johnson. However, I thought D.Hardwick would never be booted whilst Sheeds was there, so anything can happen in today's climate.
