I know it's early but:

Suban out inj (hope it not bad) Pearce IN Needs to be elevated Carving them up in the WAFL.
Dodd Out Tarrant IN (IF he's fit)

Otherwise no change..........Stability is the key

Dodd OUT OUT OUT OUT

Never to play AFL for Freo again.Wasn't abysmally bad today, but he is the old Dockers and must not play again as he has this miasma of incompetence and stale undies and socks trailing along behind him.

Taz IN

Suban out - Palmer in

Don't think we can elevate Pearce. The other 4 have taken all the spots available.

Taz is a definite in for Dodd.

Harvs probably won't debut Fyfe against the Saints he will wait until the following week back at Subi.

Palmer may be the one to come in for Suban and play half a game off the bench.

Yeah agree with Dodd. I'd give Palmer another week at East Freo and bring in Pearce (if he can be elevated?). If not Pearce, I'd say Fyfe for Suban.

Pretty certain we can't elevate Pearce after De Boer was just elevated to replace Solomon. Barlow was our nominated rookie. Silvagni was elevated for Thornton and Van Berlo for Ruffles.

The only thing which may allow him to be elevated is if you can elevate a rookie if you have someone on the veterans list? Can someone confirm this? I believe Grover is on our veterans list isn't he - this may free up a spot on the main list for Pearce to be elevated.

In the press conference after the match today Harvs was saying we had players that played 'very very well' in the WAFL. Pearce had a blinder so may have been referring to him.

If Pearce can be elevated - Suban out for Pearce.

If not - Palmer or Big Bad Bustling Benny Bucovaz. Despite Fyfe's form - he is too skinny to risk playing against the Saints miserly defence in Victoria. Leave him until we play Richmond at Subi.

Pretty sure we can still elevate one more rookie - maybe for Grover's knee injury?? IIRC, the talk was we could elevate 5 rookies all up...

If it's not Pearce, I would hope they would look at Roberton as he has been playing well off HB for EP. Fyfe I don't think is ready yet, unless they wait till Rd 5 and debut him against Richmond, but hopefully they won't need to with Palmer coming back in then (fingers crossed).

Just not Schammer, please... :o

(I used to be a huge Schammer fan - loved his endeavour and his utter disregard for his own personal safety... but he is a complete liability on the field. Bad enough watching some of the Doddisms today, without having to endure the Schammerisms next week...)

In : Tarrant, Walters
Out : Dodd, Suban.

Dodd is seriously, the worst player in the league. So bad.

Mcphee is treading a fine line, one more poor performance and I think Fyfe will take his place.

lol. He has this uncanny ability to give the opposition a goal from nothing

Out-Suban,Dodd,Crowley
In-Tarrant,Schammer,Pearce,

How can you suggest dumping Crowley, yes he was r*ped by Ablett for 3 quarters but the manner in which he fought back in the last was pivotal in our win.

Only make the changes that our necessary.

How Schammer can be considered is beyond me.

Only because the Saints have bigger bodies.

Exposing Fyfe, Walters etc to that seems madness at this stage.

Agree with the above. It's delusional to think that Crowley (or Mayne as another thread suggests) would be dropped. And I simply cannot fathom why anyone would want Schammer back in this team.

Pretty we sure we could elevate 5 Rookies

LTI:
Grover
Ruffles
Solomon
Thorton

Plus i think Grover as a Veteran free's up a spot. (Suban could be a LTI too - I hope not though)

1 Spot left and Pearce is a big body who can play all round the ground, bring him in I reckon - he had a blinder again for Swans...

The person who wants Crowl's out needs there head read - He shut down Ablett in last quarter which helped win the game.........

I really think people should get down to the WAFL a little more often.

Fyfe is not a stick! He's actually pretty built, wirey yes, but very ready for AFL footy.

Walters has played enough senior WAFL footy to suggest he can win the hardball and win enough footy.

Fair enough. I don't want Schammer back either - but watching the Saints this year it seems to me that they're out to rough up everyone.

Would like to see McPhee run through Peake.

Rookies cannot be elevated for veterans. It works the opposite way. If you don't have two veterans, you can nominate two rookies, if you have one veteran, you can nominate one rookie as available for senior selection all year. We have one veteran, Antoni Grover, and Michael Barlow is our nominated rookie. Case closed.

I doubt we will put another player on the long term injury list too, because that player then becomes ineligible for selection in both the AFL and the WAFL for eight weeks. We don't have any players who are not expected back for such a period of time.

Unless he has had a big summer in the gym - 186cm and 73 kg's is pretty skinny.

Agree on Walters though. Agree with others - no Schammer also.

All the youngsters - Pearce, Roberton, Bucovaz, Walters and Fyfe are ahead of Schammer IMO.
