So you know they want our land and you're happy that your club is taking part in them achieving that goal, the bay covers showed more intelligence than the average Power supporter

I wasn't aware of this deal because Jackson and Bartlett haven't been giving themselves self congratulatory public wanks over it.
Koch has delusions of grandeur and is desperately trying to be another Eddie McGuire. What he fails to realise is that Eddie is a lifelong supporter doing the job out of passion for his team, while Koch is an ex Swans supporter who is using the Poort presidency to raise his own profile, much like this Chonese bloke is doing now.

What this boils down to is Paer have been given a $3m gift voucher they have to spend on the person that gave it to them. Koch has sold them a lemon ( chicken no 22)
The one that will benefit is the team that is prepared to cough up a home game - get a million bucks from the AFL that they WILL be able to spend in their footy dept, to play in a yet to be determined location at a yet to be determined time.
There is even doubt as to whether this will even happen now!And now they are realising just how crap this really is for them they are sugar coating it as " good for the game'
" and " taking the game to China" - there is a reason a billionaire who has seen one match is "interested" in AFL and it's not , as you said with Eddie, love of the game. If they bothered to research this guy they'd be singing a different tune but they'd rather not research it and scream " racist ".
At the start of the week the speculation was that it was a huge China Airlines sponsorship or an Academy and a million other things - they must be disappointed but it is in their nature to puff and believe hype.
Well, like Bickley said - we had an Irish Brownlow Medallist p, played hybrid footy in Ireland, tried NZ who are two hours away, and it hasn't worked there.
