But they are nothing like the earnest intelligent opposition supporters from the 60's & 70's. Those people knew their footy and they had wit, some of them also had a good right cross ....
You could go to the footy in the outer watch the Ressies, have a pie, then get stuck into the league game, all the while remaining entertained by not only the games, but also the good nature of the like minded fans and the really clever & knowledgeable opposition fans.
All these crowbots offer is vitriol and bland naysaying, having been exposed only to crowds of like-minded people most of whom were new to footy. Those opposition supporters who went to footy park were surrounded by hostile crowds of 35,000 odd angry people who thought they knew better than the coaches & umpires.
Naturally those of them who now infest Bigfooty are frankly a big letdown.
