Did anyone else see Pagan on the news sports reports? If you didn't know what had happened, you would have thought we won the game. He sounded very relaxed and seemed quite content with the world. Every other time we've had a horror result, he has that look of irritation....hmmmm......I wonder what's going on in his mind.

Maybe he's thinking about how well the boys played yesterday.
If they can play that well for the rest of the year, no other team will come close to us.

We didn't win the game, but you can bet every other club that we still have to play this year will be looking at that video replay again...and again...and again..

Im not blaming anybody. I am actually a bit of a Clayton fan (sometimes), and by crikey I'd love Stuey to stick it up us. But he has played 16 straight and has had no effect in any of these games. He is holding a spot that could be taken by a real young gun such as a Dylan or Lindsay Smith. I would just love it if somebody could give me a reason as to why he is persisted with when Denis would've given the flick to anyone else.

I tend to agree with you. Stuey showed some glimpses in last year's finals and some in games this year, but not enough it seems.

I hope he steps up soon or he might find himself elsewhere.

If Cochrane is playing OK, leave him on the ground to do a job. If he's not playing OK, send him back to the magoos. Jones, Watt, Sinclair, Harris and Petrie have experienced the same thing during in the season - getting 20-30 minutes a week they are neither here nor there.

I wonder why we show so much faith in Stewie as well... maybe it has something to do with the amount of time and effort that has been spent on him... remember we got Stewie in the same draft as Essendon got Lloyd (by cheating as usual) and Geelong got King... maybe there is something there that none of us caan see??? who knows... but after writing Jess off two weeks ago... I for one am not prepared to doubt Pagan again...

I have been silent for some time, as work has prevented me from visiting these illustrious halls, but if I hear ANYONE tell me Stupid Cochrane has any chance of becoming a god senior footballer I will, in Plough Wallace's words, SPEW.

He has poor vision, poor skills, little ball winning ability, needs to be led to the football, incessantly turns the ball over and panics when in possession and I believe has been responsible for several turnarounds in games we have played this year, including Richmond, West Coast and Adelaide in Adelaide.

Surely the exciting youngsters we have are more worthy of persistence than this guy. Christ, if anybody, and I mean anybody, who played in the TAC Cup competition, and I was one of these, was given five years at an AFL football club and finally given an opportunity and asked simply to shadow blokes, they would respond just as he has.

But premierships and strong clubs aren't built wholey and solely around effort - it needs to be backed up with genuine ability.

Unfortunately North got it very wrong with its priority pick in 1995, and it is time to cut our losses.

Clayton, despite his apparnet lack of endeavour at times, is thrice the player of this dud, as is Joe McLaren.

Time to get of the love affair with ths guy - he works hard, and you have to respect him for that, but he has had no influence on any Kangaroos victory in which he has been a part and needs to be shipped off.
