Just receieved some info about the whole Sando and Danger situation

Danger and Sando got on very well but most of the club do not like those two blokes Walker was out if Sando stayed

Club are torn about Danger some think it might be better without him some say he's to good to let go

Yeh I don't know why Dangerfield was said to have hated Sanderson, where is that crap coming from?

Walker was the one that hated Sanderson and it wasn't just him that wanted him gone nor was he the reason he got sacked. People on the board wanted to part ways with him as well.
 
Danger at a mil a year doesn't really excite me that much. I know you need to overpay somewhat but he'll be on 200k more than Pendles and our midfield will still have the same problems with depth.

Pretty good I imagine, Danger paid for the coffee and agreed to do it for the rest of their careers together

Would excite me if true. Is closest player to Ablett in the game in terms of game style. Pendlebury+Dangerfield=oppositions have no idea who to tag. I would also expect us to still have a fair bit spare.

IF we can/Adelaide can convince Aish to go home and he goes there via the Beams trade. Or the what im guessing would be an incredibly unpopular opinion of, Pick 4 + Grundy to Adelaide for Dangerfield. Adelaide would take that over pick 2+3. We take pick 4 + leunberger off Brisbane.

Wouldn't want to push Grundy, but if he wanted to leave, Beams+him for Luenberger+Dangerfield I would do. Wouldn't want to push one of our SA boys with all the others around though
 
1 million a year is prime Chris Judd, Ablett (senior and junior), Carey, Buddy etc type superstar player... someone who sells merchandise universally (other team fans buy stuff endorsed by them).

Dangerfield is a 700-750K type talent....at max.

If the Pies simply must offer a lucrative offer... how about 7 years 5.5 million dollars? Front loaded contract (1 million, 900K, 750K, 750K, 750K, 750K, 600K)

to get Dangerfield out of the crows you will have to offer overs, i beileve he get him a club would have to pay around 800 - 850 k per year

You've always got to pay overs to get them out from another club, just have to accept it. Certainly a better investment than Tom Scully
 
Dangerfield is easily a 1mil a year player on the open market.

He plays to his absolute best say two more times a season, hes already a dual brownlow medal winner.

A million a seaaon is a reward/risk 70/30 our way. And a midfield of Pendlebury and Danger is something to cream over.

On a semi-serious note, if Brisbane wanted another player from us to give us pick 4 and Aish, which we then on trade to get Dangerfield who would we be prepared to give up?
