Forget Dangerfield..how good is this Sloane kid?

Tell ya tigerheads...if we could get Sloane and Walker to the tiges we win the flag hands down..;)

Pick 9+Edwards or Graham or Connors just might get it over the line.

Angus Graham...?

I thought we traded Maric to you guys because Graham was useless; why would we trade for somebody like that? Let alone potentially our best player?

And the Judd comparison is a relevant one - Dangerfield is a potential top 5 player in the comp, and he's just turned 22.

Shouldn't matter anyway - he loves Sando, but the thing that will keep him isn't $$, it'll be the lure of success. If he thinks the Crows are heading in the right direction and will be in flag contention, I'm confident he wont be going anywhere.

One of the more ridiculous trade suggestions you will read and it's pointless anyway as he won't be going anywhere.
Must remember that he thought pick 37 for Maric was paying too much.

Dangerfield for Menzel (Geelong)+ draft pick mentioned on SEN today

watched the game against the swans dude and as much as it pains me to say it, the crows are heading in the right direction big time, they are about 2 upgrades away from being a real deal contender. The two big blokes in your FL are ****ing dangerous..;)

is this aimed at me must be im one of few who was very reluctant to use a second rnd pick on a 25yr old who had done little. on that principal alone you would hardly ever see me change my thinking.

on graham wasnt me who suggested he be part of a trade, the opposite. if you read closely instead of seeing red every time you see my name come up you will see im advocating we try and trade into a decent pick and embrace the nd again i think the cost to get dangerfield will be too much.

all i said on graham was in relation to adelaide is they have no depth in the ruck but id doubt they would even look at him.

before people suggest trades you would hope they would look at where clubs weaknesses are. they have a good ruckman in jacobs and ruck forward in tipppett. but what comes after them. just my opinion but they could do with some genuine cover in this area. so could we.

I wasn't talking about you santa, I agree with a lot of what you say and would be disgusted if we traded ourselves out of this draft which is meant to be real good and real deep especially since we so far have 3 picks in the top 30.
We are in no position to be getting involved in big trades like going after a Dangerfield.

apologies to you, one gets a bit paranoid at times around here.

If it's any consolation, I like you guys a lot, and think you're heading in the right direction as well :)

GWS/GC entry screwed you a bit, but you've finally got a good Coaching setup, and you're well and truly on the way to building the core of a very good side.

Results this year don't do you justice; and with a couple more years of canny trading (enjoy the Bock pick, bastards ;)) and drafting, you should be well placed to play consistent finals footy.

And with 3 relatively early picks in what is supposed to be a belter of a draft, this year could really strengthen your list.

Saturday Night was a great game - I wish some of our fans appreciated Tippett a bit more though; sure, he had a quiet night - but he also had 2-3 defenders on him at almost every contest. TWalker finally realised that when everybody else is worried about Kurt, he can lead into space and have a field day.

Good signs - we're a year or two away from it at present, and we'll have some ordinary games this year, but yea, Sando has been a great pick-up.

if thats the case, lets target the last remaining mullet from the crows. The mullet could be the way to the promised land for the tigers..dont worry about beep tests etc, if they have a mullet grab them...Tex Walker would be exactly what the doctor ordered for us. And if we are going to move heaven and earth and pay for a ready to rock player, this guy would be it IMO. ;)
