My partner and I are on our way home from the ground lol... We got there (earlier than we normally do) and found the Western Stand unreserved members areas absolutely packed. We couldn't believe it. Literally no spare seats. People saving them with scarves with no spares whatsover. All the way to the top. Never happened to us before ever! other people in the same boat as us and asking what they could do! Told to go to other free sections or go to the standing areas.

We frantically tried to purchase upgraded seats. There were literally only two single seats left and in separate sections, but we decided to try for them anyway. I got through and purchased one. My partner's was hanging on purchase. He refreshed it and I tried to purchase the same one for him using his barcode etc but it was already taken of course I chose non refundable idiot.

The only option was for him to stand in the open which he wasn't keen on, or he would go home and I stay. Didn't want to be there alone to be honest so we decided to leave Very disappointed experience but we should have purchased an upgrade ages ago and we didn't even think about it. We weren't the only foolish ones lol. Next year we might try and get upgraded tickets with reserved seats or try getting an upgrade for games like this.

Just getting our takeaway food now and we will watch at home on Kayo (delayed until we catch up in breaks). Sigh...
